People often go into business for one thing – profit. While for some, the pay day comes sooner, for others it builds over time. The latter is the story of Kids World, one of the key sponsors of the annual Bride & Groom Expo.
Having partnered with Bride and Groom magazine over the years, Kids World sees their role as more of a partnership.
Amelia Kisakye Kyambadde, the proprietor of Kids World, says: “We are more of partners with Bride and Groom than sponsors. We have long worked with them and they have the clientele that we target. All the years that we have partnered have been fruitful years and we have never been disappointed.”
She adds their participation this year goes beyond sponsorship to actually using the Expo as a launch pad for the new bridal clothing line. Since its inception in 2011, Kids World only dealt with bridal merchandise for children.
“We have now noted our customers’ concerns about having a one-stop centre for the children and themselves,” says Kyambadde. “So, at the Expo we are launching a bridal shop for grownups called Bridal World. People should expect a centre that will provide everything for the bridal entourage.”
“At theBride and Groom Expo, we will also be showcasing a lot of the new product line, apart from it being a time to interact with our customers,” she adds. “People coming for theExpo should expect quality and affordability.”
The Bride& Groom Expo will take place from June 23 to 25 at the Uganda Manufacturer’s New Exhibition Hall, with an entrance fee of only sh10,000.
There will also be a raffle draw for a lucky couple to win a fantasy wedding worth sh80m.
